Ocean Eyes + Desert Skies

Some collections feel designed. This one feels discovered. Ocean Eyes + Desert Skies was never about sketching prints onto paper or forcing inspiration into form. Instead, it was about surrender. My manufacturer became my guide, leading me on a kind of virtual fabric pilgrimage. And then — like fate — the fabrics revealed themselves. The moment I saw them, I just knew. They carried the very essence of the story I wanted to tell.

This journey began back in January, born from a seed of longing and love. Over months it ebbed and flowed like the tide. There were highs that felt like sunlight pouring through and lows that asked me to trust the process. Yet through it all, I held onto the vision. And finally, in the glow of late July, she arrived — carried in on the waves and launched under a summer sunset.

Every piece is a love letter to the worlds that inspire me most. The ocean with her infinite depths and secrets. The desert with its golden skies and eternal stillness. Together they became the collection’s two muses, embodied through Sanskrit names chosen with care. Mira, meaning ocean. Maru, meaning desert. Two spirits, two energies, flowing as one.

Ocean Eyes + Desert Skies is more than fabric and thread. It is a story of patience, intuition, and trust. It is proof that sometimes the most magical creations are the ones you do not force but the ones you allow to find you.

She is here now, and she is ready to be shared.
